What is CRM setup and management?
CRM setup is configuring a CRM so every lead and customer lives in one place: contacts, custom fields, a sales pipeline, lead sources, forms, calendars, users and reports. CRM management is the ongoing work after launch: fixing and improving automations, keeping data clean, supporting your team and reporting results. Tangentek does both.
Which CRM is best for a small business?
It depends on your team size, the channels your leads arrive through, what you already pay for and how much automation you need. GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM and monday CRM are the options we most often shortlist for small businesses. A short call is usually enough to narrow it to one or two. See the
CRMs we support.
What does a GoHighLevel (GHL) management service include?
We set up or take over your GoHighLevel account and run it for you: pipelines, workflows, calendars, forms, SMS and email sending, lead-channel connections, reputation requests and dashboards. Management then covers monitoring workflows, fixing errors, building new automations, user support and a monthly report. Read more in the
GoHighLevel management section.
Can you take over our existing GoHighLevel, HubSpot or monday account?
Yes. We start with an audit of what is there: duplicate workflows, unclear pipelines, broken connections, messy data and missing consent handling. Then we agree what to keep, fix or rebuild, and manage the account from there.
How much does CRM setup cost?
There are two costs: your CRM platform subscription, which you pay the vendor directly, and our fee, which we quote in AUD before you start. We do not publish a fixed price because the scope varies with the number of users, channels, pipelines, automations and records to migrate.
How long does CRM setup take?
A focused setup with a few channels and core automations is often finished in a few weeks. Projects with data migration, many users or custom integrations take longer. We agree a timeline after the discovery call, and we test every connection and workflow end to end before launch.
Can you move our data from spreadsheets or another CRM?
Yes. We map your existing fields to the new CRM, merge duplicates, standardise values such as lead source and status, import contacts and deals, and check the result with you before switching over.
Which lead channels can you connect to the CRM?
Website forms and chat, Facebook and Instagram lead ads, Google Ads lead forms and calls, WhatsApp, SMS, email, phone calls and missed calls, online booking calendars, plus other tools through Zapier, Make or an API where the platform supports it. WhatsApp automation uses the WhatsApp Business Platform, which has its own approval, opt-in and message-template rules.
Is SMS and email automation legal in Australia?
Yes, if it follows the rules. Under the Spam Act 2003, commercial SMS and email need consent, clear sender identification and a working unsubscribe. Telemarketing calls are subject to the Do Not Call Register. We build consent capture and opt-out handling into every workflow. This is general information, not legal advice.
Do we own the CRM account and our data?
Your leads and customer data belong to your business. We set the CRM up under your business's own account wherever the platform allows it, and we tell you up front if a setup works differently.
Do you only work with businesses in Sydney?
No. Tangentek is a remote-first digital agency based in Sydney and works with businesses across Australia. Support runs 9 am to 5 pm AEST, Monday to Friday.
Can CRM setup be combined with SEO, Google Ads or a new website?
